- Develop an MSME Competitiveness Index, by defining and gathering inputs on key parameters at various levels
- Develop a monitoring mechanism to evaluate impact of various schemes and programs of the government through data synthesis
- Preparation of annual plan and budget for the Directorate
- Strategize and initiate sets for efficient utilisation of funds at the Directorate
- Compilation of data related to all the schemes of the Directorate and preparation of annual reports
- Publish MSME-focussed thought leadership, knowledge material, annual reports in coordination with MEANS Council
